This assignment was to take a photo of sunglasses and recreate it in illustrator. I'm not thrilled with my outcome, but I'm not too upset with it either. You can for sure tell that it's a digital drawing. I think to make it look more realistic I should have relied heavily on gradients. I had a lot of trouble with the lenses. I didn't end up using any opacity on them like I wanted to because I couldn't quite get the hang of aligning the shapes perfectly, so I just let them overlap and vetoed the opacity affect. Though it didn't turn out the best, I feel like I'm better equipped to do a project like this in the future because I know now what I want to do differently.
